Weddings are most definitely unforgettable days for the groom and bride and it’s vitally important that they are remembered for the right reasons. We have vast experience when it comes to catering for this kind of event and we feel like we can pride ourselves with an outstanding service and most importantly, flexibility and kindness.
We understand that you may be stressed, that you want everything to be perfect and that you think your guests have very high expectations too. We have been there. I always say to my couples that if they survive the planning stage then their marriage will probably last forever!
We have seen grooms crying and brides dancing hip hop moves in their own way to the celebrant for how they were so relaxed. We have seen unorganised wedding planners freaking out because the bride got red wine on her wedding dress before the photoshoot, coming into the kitchen and asking for stain remover (I mean, really? Why would we carry stain remover?), but we see joy and happiness each and every time.
We meet a lot of professionals working behind the scenes and saving the un-saveable, and not a single guest noticing a thing, let along the wedding couple. If you are desperate for recommendations, then ask a trusted supplier before you ask a stranger on social media!
We did indeed witness a few disasters too. There is rarely ever a wedding where everything goes perfectly smoothly and not a single thing goes wrong. That’s just life, and I know you know it too. I believe it’s how you deal with these events that makes the difference.
If you don’t have a wedding planner we strongly suggest you to hire one of our coordinators for the day. Why? Because we are sure that you will appreciate a “go to” person that gets things done and is your little angel that thinks for you when your head is all over the place before the ceremony or a bit fuzzy after a few glasses of prosecco! While everyone is enjoying fizz and canapés you will probably be out for the photoshoot, you will come back tired, hungry and full of adrenaline. Our super heroes (and yes, they wear the costumes under their uniforms!) will have a plate of canapés and a glass of something nice for you. Nobody will notice if you are 5 minutes behind the schedule because you needed to raise your sugar levels, and if they do they won’t mind.
The wedding meal is a big deal and we’ve got this, we are proud of what we do and nothing is acceptable if it’s not outstanding. This is our style with no exceptions. We love to plan and go into details with you to make this happen, in the unfortunate case that something does go wrong then we always have a plan B or even a plan C because sometimes things can be out of our control but that’s no excuse for a poor service.
We like to collaborate with the other suppliers to make everything to the highest standards. Weddings require great teamwork and we absolutely love that. We also love to have our superhero status so please, allow us to do what we love and what we know by heart while you can actually get to enjoy your big day.
My take on cheap and disorganised suppliers is that you rely on luck. I understand sometimes keeping the costs down is vitally important to you and this is why a real professional will never push you to buy more, or ask to get paid too early or without providing you with a contract. If you have a restricted budget, there are plenty of things you can do to cut or save. A professional thinks outside of the box to make your dreams come true by providing you with a different set of ideas, but very rarely by cutting the costs. We know the value of our products and we know how much we work to make it great. If canapés and champagne are out of your budget what about prosecco and a finger buffet? If it’s still too much, what about sharing platters instead of fancy plated courses? We never compromise quality, but we can do something different to make it accessible for you and we love crazy and innovative ideas, so, challenge us! If you think we could help you with anything don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
